Library of the Month: Home Bookshelves

I don’t know about you, but whenever I see a post that is all about a cool library or a celebrity library I break my finger clicking as fast as humanly possible.

One of my aspirational dreams in life is to have an epic library. Even if I can only afford a tiny house where I end up sleeping on piles of books…but that’s a story for another time.

Since I love libraries, I guess you probably do too. So, I want to create a new monthly post here: the library of the month.

I’m going to feature at least one but likely a few (library of the month sounds better than libraries of the month) options, maybe they’ll be on a theme, maybe not.

Yea, I spend a lot of time on Reddit. Where else would I get all of my Game of Thrones theories?

When I’m not on it looking at stuff about GoT, or the best streaming shows on Netflix, I use it for books. So I’m often checking out the subreddits like /books or /booksuggestions.

But, one of my favorite threads is called /bookshelf. It’s just pictures of the home bookshelves of people who love to read. Cool, right?

So this month, I want to highlight some of my favorite bookshelves out there. I keep plenty of these in mind for when I have my own home library.

Check them out!

I wouldn’t do a color coated bookshelf myself, but man, I do really dig the look of this one.

‘Hello, my house looks like a Barnes and Noble,’ yes, that is my jealous voice….

Gods, the nerd in me would lock myself in this room and emerge a decade later. Just slide pizza under the door.

I love the idea of having just a gigantic wall of books, of course, I’d never be able to reach most of them.

The person who submitted this image said it was a total pain in the ass to clean but looks so awesome, and I have to agree.

If you have a suggestion or recommendation for an upcoming Library of the Month, leave me a comment. You can check out last month’s edition right here.
